These terms apply when you buy a KDownloader licence or use the application. They are written to be read, not to be survived. The licence agreement covering what you may do with the software is a separate page, and the refund policy is a third.

Before launch: replace every [BRACKETED] field below with the real trading name, address, registration number and tax status, and have the finished text read by someone qualified in Indonesian consumer and tax law. A template is not legal advice.

1. Who you are dealing with

KDownloader is sold by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ENTITY FORM, e.g. a sole proprietorship registered in Indonesia], at [ADDRESS], tax number [NPWP]. In these terms that party is called "we" and "us". You can reach us at support@kdownloader.app.

2. What is being sold

You are buying a licence to use the KDownloader application, not the software itself and not a copy of its source code. Two licences exist:

Yearly — the Pro features for twelve months from the day the payment clears, usable on up to three machines at a time.
Lifetime — the Pro features with no end date, usable on up to five machines at a time, including all version 1.x and 2.x updates.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not of a person: if KDownloader is discontinued, a lifetime licence keeps working on the versions already released, and there is nothing further to deliver. A version 3.0, should it ever exist, may be a separate purchase, and we will say so clearly before selling it.

The free version is not sold and carries no commitment of any kind beyond what the licence agreement says.

3. Prices and tax

Prices are shown on the pricing page, in US dollars and in rupiah. The rupiah price is not a live conversion of the dollar price; each is set separately and reviewed from time to time. The price that applies is the one shown at the moment you pay, and the amount charged is the amount in the summary on the checkout page.

[IF REGISTERED FOR VAT: Indonesian VAT (PPN) at the applicable rate is included in the rupiah price.] Any tax your own country charges on an imported digital service, and any fee your bank or card issuer adds for a foreign currency transaction, is yours.

4. Payment and delivery

Payments are handled by PayPal, or by Midtrans for cards and QRIS. We never receive or store your card number or your PayPal credentials. Your email address, the amount, and the order reference are what reach us.

The licence key is generated and emailed as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment — usually within a minute, and for QRIS within seconds. Delivery is digital and immediate; there is nothing to ship and nothing to wait for. If the key does not arrive, the My licence page will send it again to the address that paid.

5. Refunds

Fourteen days from payment, no reason required. The refund policy sets out how to ask and how long the money takes to arrive. Because the licence is delivered immediately, asking for a refund ends the licence: the key stops working once the money is returned.

6. Support

Support is by email, from one person. We aim to answer Pro licence holders within one working day and everyone else within two, which is a goal rather than a guarantee. Support covers installing, activating and using KDownloader. It does not extend to a particular website working the way you want, to a server that refuses range requests, or to anything the application openly says it does not do.

7. What we do not promise

KDownloader is a tool that talks to servers we do not control. We do not promise that any specific file, site, stream or torrent can be downloaded, that any particular speed is achievable, or that a feature that works today will keep working when a website changes. The application is provided as it is. Nothing here excludes rights that Indonesian consumer law gives you and does not let us exclude.

Our total liability for anything connected with the software or the licence is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for lost data, lost time, lost earnings, or for a file you downloaded and should not have.

8. What you are responsible for

What you download, and whether you were entitled to download it, is yours. KDownloader does not break copy protection and will not be made to. Using it to copy material you have no right to copy, or against the terms of a site you agreed to, is a decision you make without us.

9. Changes

These terms can change for future purchases. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you paid, and the date at the top of this page tells you which that was. Prices can change at any time; a price change never reaches back into a licence you already hold, and a lifetime licence is never converted into a subscription.

10. Ending a licence

We can end a licence, without a refund, if a key is published, sold on, or used far beyond its machine limit in a way that is plainly not one person's own machines. We will contact you first unless the key is already circulating publicly. Otherwise a lifetime licence does not end, and a yearly one simply runs out.

11. Law and disputes

Indonesian law applies, and the courts of [JURISDICTION, e.g. Jakarta Selatan] have jurisdiction. Before anyone involves a court, email us: almost everything that reaches this paragraph was a payment that went astray or a key that did not arrive, and both are fixed in a day.

12. Language

This page is written in English. An Indonesian translation is available on request and carries the same meaning; if the two ever disagree on a point of substance, the Indonesian text governs for buyers in Indonesia.
